PRIVATE PARTIES AND RECEPTIONS: Whether in your residence, at a club or banquet hall, or on a Lake Michigan cruise ship, JAY COLLEN will bring Magic to your party. He performs wherever people gather, and will adapt to the venue and the occasion.

KIDS PARTIES: JAY COLLEN is the father of four children, who taught him a vital lesson: "there is no such thing as children's magic; there is only magic." The best magic entrances everyone, no matter what their age, and that's the magic Jay performs. Kids will be deeply entertained, but there's no need for a clown-suit, an infantile voice, prat-falls or practical jokes. Of course, Jay brings a light heart to all performances, and of course he only performs tricks that kids understand (most 7 year-olds are unimpressed by being dealt a royal straight flush), and of course he never performs gory or scary tricks. One thing's for sure: it's a show the adults will want to watch too.

PRIVATE LESSONS: JAY COLLEN has taught magic to older children, young adults and adults for many years. Private lessons are tailored to the knowledge, background, ability, and specific interests of the individual student. Lessons focus on general magical principles, techniques and skills with an emphasis on presentation. Also introduced are dramatic skills such as timing, vocalization, display, body language. Jay has some flexibility as to the time, place and frequency of lessons. Minor students must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. If the prospective student is 10 years old or younger, Jay requests an initial 1/2 hour meeting without charge to assess the student's level of interest and ability.

COMMUNITY AND SCHOOLS: Jay has performed at schools, churches, synagogues, after-school care facilities and nursing homes. If you have a community event, please call Jay.

CORPORATE SALES: The corporate sales entertainer has one principal job: attract people to the booth and sell product. JAY COLLEN has special qualifications for both. As an experienced street entertainer, he knows how to draw-in a crowd of complete strangers. As a magic shop demonstrator who's worked "behind the counter" he knows direct sales. In a corporate booth, that background just can't be beat!
